Marriage in Morocco

Shahmiah2000

I’m looking to get married in Morocco. I am a British citizen. I’ve tried to book an appointment at the British embassy in Rabat. But I cannot find anywhere on the website how to book an application or look for appointment slots. I feel like I’m going around in circles. Any help will be much appreciated.

No need for appointment.

First step:

google your local registry office and book an appointment for a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI).

they’ll tell you what to bring to the appointment. Thereafter they will put notice about your marriage for 28 days.

you do NOT need an appointment in embassy in Morocco at all!

You dont need to book an appointment at the British embassy in rabat. If you live in the UK you need to attain a certificate of no impediment From you local registry office.

You no longer need an appointment as the procedure has changed and only applies to UK citizens living outside the UK (Morocco). Go to your local registry office and book an appointment for a Certificate of No Impediment (CNI). They’ll tell you what to bring to the appointment. They will put notice about your marriage for 28 days and then you can go and collect the certificate. Once you have this you will need to get ot apostilled. The registra usually can recommend one for you.
