Is eating a vegan & organic diet possible in casablanca?

hello everyone!

i'll be moving to casablanca in october and i wanted to know if there's access to organic food, and how easy it is to keep to a vegan diet? i'd like to know how easy/difficult it is to maintain an organic vegan diet once i'm there. any info will be greatly appreciated!

Hi shin-shin,

I think it will be hard but doable. You probably will have to avoid eating out as I don't think there is a single vegan restaurant in Casablanca. In some places there are vegetarian options though.

As regards grocery shopping, you may want to go to a specialised store such as La Vie Claire. Another option is to get "fruits and vegetables bags" delivered to you. If you google "Une ile bio casablanca" you'll find their Facebook page with contact details for orders and delivery.
