Hi Ulka,

There's not a lot of options that I'm aware of.

1) You could see with the University's Maison des Langues who do a DELF (Diplôme d’Etude en Langue Française), see Unfortunately the MdL website is all in French, which isn't helpful if you don't already speak French!

2) The other option would be to check the small ads of Le Quotidien or the JIR newspapers (see for example), where there are generally people advertising lessons. If you don't see anything you like you could post your own ad.

Hi Ula,

Have you managed to get the French course?

I am also moving to Reunion within 2 months, I will be living in La Possession. I might need to look for a teacher or someone to practise my language with.

How good is your French at the moment? And if you don't mind me asking you- what do you do in Reunion?

Kasia,

Pitaya

Hi Ula

I've seen several ads for FLE (Français Langue Etrangère I believe)tutors on sites like leboncoin.fr

Kasia, I live in La Possesion and would be happy to introduce you to people that you could practice with. I obviously won't offer myself as I'm not a native French speaker.

K'osez centre de Langues (in St Pierre) definitely do FLE and I've heard good things. But it'll be far away from you both.

Pitaya,

Thank you very much for your being sooo kind and for replaying to the post.

Oh I would love to meet you when I get to Reunion! :-)

Looking forward to to settle down in such a paradise and meet you, make new friends, eat delicious food, fruits and just enjoy the life:-)

Have a lovely week! ;)

Kasia
