For the ones living in Dakar, what would you suggest to discover the region?

When you have friends or family visiting you, where do you go with them? What are the must-see places in Dakar, the tourist sites?

How to visit the region in an original way? Any unusual or unknown place to recommend?

What would you suggest for a couple of days of for a week of holidays in Dakar?

I could visit Gor茅e Island, Ngor Island, the monument of african renaissance. Away from the noisy city life you can go for the calm of toubab dialaw or somone in the small coast near Mbour. But the nicest, most beautiful holidays could be enjoyed in the Sine Saloum Islands, in places like Foundiougne, Palmarin, Joal Fadhiout, among many other dream places.
