Dock walking at marinas

Hi there! My name is Mikayla and I am 24. I am from south Africa and recently made the choice of switching careers to the maritime industry. I have heard a lot of great things about the marinas in Seychelles.聽 I am looking at finding work on a yacht by dock walking. Has anyone done this in Seychelles? I hear it very successful but would like to know how to go about it with regards to visas, accommodation and simple information on the docks that may prevent dock walking.

Hi, you can fly to Seychelles for vacation, you will just need a valid hotel booking & return flight ticket. There is no visa required and you will get a visitors permit upon arrival at the airport - free of charge. The best spot to find jobs on a yacht would be at Eden Island Marina. It is freely accessible during daytime and there are always quite a few superyachts docked... So the chances are good. Cheers, Peter
