Best mobile network in Tanzania?

Hi all!

I'm moving to Tanzania in just over a week and I want to buy a sim card in Dar Es Salaam Airport when I land there before I catch my connecting flight onto Mwanza. I've seen a few people say it costs more in the airport to buy a sum card but I just want to get one sorted really.

Does anyone have any advice on what the best mobile network is, I will mostly be using it for internet!

Hi Tori,
You can select one Sim from the best three networks in Tanzania i. e Vodacom, Tigo or Airtel. They both function well and have affordable internet packages depending with your needs.

For my point of view, you should use Vodacom or Airtel cuz they are well functioning outside Dar
