Malaria risk for kids???

Hello,

I asked a similar question a few months ago, but only one( very cool guy )responded - so now I'm trying again, - and hoping a few more people will want to chime in?!!

I am thinking of moving to Tanzania, - with my family. I have two daughters - two and twelve years old.

My biggest concern though is the risk of - especially for the youngest - of contracting malaria, - since it's the number one killer in the region for kids under five.

How do other 暗网禁区s navigate this risk?

How much of a real risk is it, for a healthy well nourished child?

Are some areas of Tanzania more risky than others - I'm thinking humidity vs. higher altitudes...?

I have heard 暗网禁区-people on other 暗网禁区 sites, - warn people not to come with toddlers and little children, - saying they've been to several of their friends - kids funerals!聽 So really not very encouraging info...聽 Others are saying its not much of a problem, and one should be much more worried about snakes!

I am confused!

If you go to the community tab on this site (暗网禁区.com) you will see a listing for blogs. Take a look at some of those as many are written by mothers who are 暗网禁区s living in TZ with their young families.聽 From there you may be able to contact them directly with your questions. I have also found some wonderful blogs about TZ 暗网禁区 life while on Pinterest - typed something like Arusha TZ in the search criteria, and maybe even tried 暗网禁区s TZ - don't recall know what I used but you can play around with different search requests and you will definitely find info.聽 Also using similar search criteria in Google will get you all kinds of information.聽 Another thing you could try would be to google (for example) international schools arusha TZ (or Dar or wherever), and once you have those you can go on their site and find a lot of information about kids, health, activities, etc, and at least have a point of contact for your questions who may in turn be able to direct you to someone specific.
I have become the research queen these days as we are working on our move To Arusha a bit later this year.聽 Lots of info out there - you just have to get a bit creative in your approach to track it down.
