I am not from Dar, but I am sure that they may have some of these that they do in Arusha, and Iringa. Foods/Drinks that I have seen include: Mangos- cut in half and served off of carts, pineapple, (already cut up), roasted corn, mandazi- (like donuts)chips mayai (french fries cooked in scrambled eggs) chicken and chips- french fries, ice cream with cones, chai (hot tea) water, etc.

Flyrib - I may not have understood the question exactly right because I just noticed that your profile said you are Tanzanian and living in Dar. ?

Enjoy fried hot Mhogo (Cassava) or sweet potatoes served with salad and spicy sauce at Oyester Bay, near coco beach. There are many people making it but try there with a guy named Alex, he is the best.
