Moving to Zanzibar

Hi Everyone,
I am new to the forum.
My Husband and I are moving to Zanzibar in July/Aug to charter our yacht.
Although really looking forward to it there are many things I need to know.
What is the situation with bringing dogs to Zanzibar? Are there vets there?
Are apartments and houses readily available to rent.
Is DSTV avalable.
That will do for now, I dont want to bombard you with questions.
Would appreciate any help.
