Welcome on °µÍø½ûÇø-blog aussiegirl1975! :) I suggest you to contact the Australian Embassy in Cairo. Here is the address: Embassy address: 11th Floor, World Trade Center, 1191 Corniche El-Nil, Boulak, Cairo, Tel +20 2 575 0444, Fax +20 2 578 1638 , and have a look at their website, you will get more info : ;)

Hi Aussiegirl
Just as Christine above mentioned your best bet would be to contact the Australian Embassy in Egypt.Check online at immi.gov.au as well for more information. Be prepared for a long journey ahead. The Australian goverment does not give visas out very easily. You need proof of a relationship and not just over the internet. Be prepared to answer ALOT of questions. They are also more likely to prefer a professional over someone who has no qualification. Not sure what your fiancee does but it could be worth him improving his english level or studying some more.
Hope this helps crispym

Hi Aussiegirl,

I'm an Aussie living in Tunisia and married to a Tunisian.  It will be a long hard road to get him a visa.  Firstly you have to prove your relationship.  Have you been to Tune town to meet him yet?  Be warned that just because you will marry him this is no guarantee for the success of his visa.

Hi Riadhtunisia - I'm happy to answer you.  I have travelled for a long time in the ME and North Africa along with the Gulf countries but had never been to Tunisia until I met my husband in Libya where he was working.  He hadn't been home for a long time so we decided to get married in Tunisia so he could re-unite with his family.  We were going to live in Jordan but I fell in love with Tunisia so we decided to stay and live here and I haven't regretted it for one minute.  I love being here.
