I'm a keen triathlete and love cycling - i like to go on 100k cycles during the weekends and need to for some of my training. I was just wondering what the roads are like in and around Baku for road cycling and whether there are any decent routes?
Any feedback on anything triathlon related would be much appreciated.
My preferred route is the airport road towards Bilgah. It's an 84kms round trip and the road is in very good condition. There is group ride every sunday morning leaving from the boulevard (opposite Lenin museum ). In winter they usually leave around 09am if weather permits
