I moved here last September, and intend to stay! See my posts below. Cost of living, climate, food, etc all played a part in my decision to move here and stay.

Hello!
I am just moving to Cambodia as soon as I get an airplane ticket and find a rental offer.
I'm moving to Asia because I had an interest in it ever since I learned how to read subtitles in Jackie Chan movies and documentaries about asia always amazed me. I really love the daily life, the streets, historical architecture, the food and the instrument erhu. I just love it all!
I intend to stay in asia for life. For now I will live in Cambodia and later I am planning to move to South Korea, if all goes by plan. If not, then I will stay in Cambodia, however even when living in Korea, Cambodia will be my primary vacation spot (besides China, Egypt & Carribean).

I've been in Cambodia for the past year and a half and have no intentions on leaving any time soon. Life here is relatively stress-free and easy. The people are friendly. The cost of living well is affordable, eating out costs the same as shopping at a supermarket. It's always sunny, even during monsoon season! Asian food is the best. And you can make a difference to people's lives everyday by doing the smallest acts of kindness, buying a bag of rice here'n'there. There are many more °µÍø½ûÇøs here then i expected and you meet the most wonderfully open-minded people. Phnom Penh is developing so quickly. In the past 18 months i've seen many new restaurants, a couple of cinemas, an ice-rink open. It's amazing to be in a place in such a transitional stage. Cambodia is an amazing country. :)

I just got here a month ago and I have to say that I'm not saving any money at all and that local drivers are dangerous thus daily life is stressful (at least for me, I already witnessed three minor accidents), but other than that it is a paradise as expected.
