My days are Numbered

Siyula

I have been in Guangzhou for 2 weeks now and well... I've made it! I made it through the culture shock and I have gotten into the swing of things. I am happy to say I"VE DONE IT! My days are numbered, 4 months to go and each one counts. I want to try to visit all of the Wholesale markets... does any one know much about buying whole sale in china... what it takes and the best places to go?

Fabric:
There are quite a few large-sized fabric wholesale centres near Sun Yat-Sen University. You can take an underground train there.

Food:
Loads of food wholesalers along Yide Road. Get off in Haizhu Guangchang or Haizhu Square Metro Station. You will have to do a bit of walking.

Tea:
You can find hundreds or thousands of tea wholesalers around Fangcun. I used to travel there by Bus 222. Get off in Shancun Bus Stop. Again, do a bit of walking. It is said that you can also take an underground train and then take a bus....

Attire and faked watches:
There are a few large-sized wholesale centres for attire, cases and watches around the old Guangzhou Railway Station. You can take an underground train to get there.

Jewellery:
Get off in Changshou Road Metro Station. Walk a bit from the metro station to Kangwang Road. There is a big and modern jade and jewellery wholesale centre in Kangwang Road (known as Hualin). But you can also find other older wholesale centres of the same kind nearby.
