Any Suggestions for Mandarin Classes in Shenzhen?

Kris N

Guilty as charged.

I've been in SZ for 3 years and my Chinese sucks. Everytime I agree to do language exchange I end up teaching more English or French than learning Chinese from my counterpart.

So I'm looking for a good school or teacher in Shenzhen. Preferably in Nanshan Coastal City or OCT areas, not Shekou please.

Thanks
K

Or Luohu District area.  Just arrived and need to get a clue on basic communications beyond phrases I teach myself.

Oh,Chinese is really hard to learn. You have to practise it with Chinese as posible as you can.I think you should buy some book, and study really hard on them. After you get some basic knowledge. Then find a senior teacher to teach you grammer and phrase parts.

I bought a book and learned a few phrases too. I even took a few lessons a few years ago but never had time to study, so I didn't learn much.

My biggest problem is knowing which tone to use! Ah!!!! I just can't get the tones right. I'm always using the wrong tone and often forgetting words and phrases not long after I learned them!

Tones seem to be the biggest problem for you fresh learners. If you can catch the tones. Then you would be with great advantage in speaking Chinese.

You stayed here for 3 years and your Chinese still suck.Maybe someone just don't have the talent.:one
