My name is Caitlin - I'm from Brisbane, Australia and I'm moving to Beijing for 6 months to work with a children's theatre. I'm a performer and maker and I'd love to connect with some like-minded people, or with anyone who might know the arts scene in Beijing.

That sounds interesting! I will be in China as soon as my z visa gets processed (fingers crossed). I am from the Gold Coast and have been working in Cambodia since 2016. I've been back on the coast since January, when are you going?

Hi Caitlin,
Im a Brisbanite too!! Hubby and I fly out on 28th Match (Friday week!!).
I feel like you. I know no one and don't speak the language and hoping to connect with other Aussies to build a social network.
We will be in Shanghai for one month before heading back to Australia while our z visas are approved and then returning again before the end of June.
Its so exciting but scary at the same time. But should be an experience of a lifetime!
