This site publishes prices that are submitted by others. I have used it extensively in my many years of traveling and working around the world.

Hello,
If you are going toand you have a gross salary of 24K yuan, of course you can totally survive in Chengdu.
According to the 'Chengdu City & Salary 2020 Research Study,' many positions in kindergartens and other early childhood education pay about $16,000 ($2,291) a month on the low end of the scale.
For a freshman English teacher, language centers pay about $12,000 ($1,714) per month. The distribution curve, on the other hand, rapidly increases, and more workers (including language centers) pay between $13,688 and $2,855 a month.
Teachers with multiple certifications, who work for foreign programs or international schools, who can demonstrate that they can perform multiple tasks can earn up to $32,000 ($4,570) on the high end of the pay scale.

After tax, I guessed 18K is net take home pay. Accommodation is provided.

18K is enough to live in Chengdu?

MattyTE

Yes, it's alright.  It is certainly enough to survive.
