so boreddddddddd

r1cky0h

so ive been in guangzhou for the past 2 months... up until now i havent felt really bored because i kept myself busy by going out and just checking out the city. i feel like theres really not much to look at around here sight-seeing wise. im actually going to be leaving back to cali on the 24th of july but dont want to be losing my mind the last 3 weeks im here. im a 25 year old korean-american male just looking to go out and chill. work keeps me busy from morning till about 7 from mon-sat but i feel like im young enough to go out and drink and still make it in time to work w/o being hung over so...... if anyone wants to chill and grab some drinks just hit me up. i dont really know the area too well so you might have to give me some directions or something. :P

Talk to the homeless or join the gym. I play basketball and tennis so im lucky to meet many who enjoy playing and talking.

where you play hoops at? ive been dying to play but the humidity, lack of a basketball, and just the general lack of knowledge of where any parks are prevent it... :(

Ricky,

Hey man, give me a call. I just got here yesterday for a one-year assignment. I'm up for exploring or just hitting a bar. 861-3250-71237. Tonight I was thinking about looking at the sports center in Tainhe for some laps in the pool. Sorry, I don't play ball much.

Hello JWilliamson, I am moving soon to guangnzhou....

can you please let me know where i can play tennis ( for leisure ) and how much it cost ?

Thanks

JWilliamson

Hey, im in Hong Kong

Michelle1118

you can play basketball and tennis in many universities, some of the places are for free but it might be crowded. but you can do sport in non-free playground and the price is reasonable in universities.
you can go to the sun yat-sen university which is located in haizhu district and is the best university in guangzhou. the environment is nice there.
basketball:5 yuan per time.
tenis: i have no idea about the price, but i think it is acceptable.

meanwhile, tianhe has a non-free sport center
