Hey DeltaGirl!聽 The short answer : yes!聽 I am also new to Shenzhen and went to an open mic recently (in CoCo Park - Rapscallions Bar).聽 I met lots of awesome peeps from the States - yes including African-Americans (I also asked if indeed there was a community in Shenzhen haha).聽 It was a great time.聽 It happens every Thursday night.
