Most schools give you a 50% discount if you work there. I will be working in TEDA Tianjin, it's a Canadian curriculum international school with accredited qualifications (they have branches around the world) They still need a teacher- if it's not too late he could apply there- I could give you contacts.

I am working on a website with information about everything in Tianjin for kids. My information on TEDA is pretty scant because I don't live there but I just started, so I'm hoping I can add more info soon. All the schools are here at least. Check it out! .
