Paying bills in Georgia

Priscilla

Hello everyone,

What bills do you pay? If you are renting, are bills included in the price of rent, and is this common practice in Georgia?

How can you pay your bills (e.g. online, at provider's store, at the post office)? Which is the most convenient or reliable way?

With what frequency are different bills sent in Georgia? Are there different deadlines for payment?

Thank you for sharing your experience.

Priscilla

Hello Priscilla,

If you rent a place with a yearly contract, you must pay the bills for electricity, gas, water and cleaning yourself.
You get the abonne number from your landlord and pay the bills.
You can pay online via website or using your online banking website if you have a account in a Georgian bank like [link moderated] or you can use bankomatic devices located everywhere in streets.

Have a good time.

Automatic teller type machines are on every corner of the city. All utility bills can be paid via these machines. The orange ones with the Express Bank logo are normally in working order. The TBC machines usually don't work.
