I don't know about Bangalore, but all the places I've been in India, Landlord were quite flexible about dog. I guess some will accept, others won't. Still there is usually a big process, for pet's travel. You probably know that already, but in case, check - pettravel.com/ . So far I have more knowledge about Indian or Nepali dogs that i ve taken to west. The thing is that Indian is also full of street dogs, so you need to be aware that a house with a garden would be better cause every time you will walk your dog, dozen of dogs may jump and attack him ^^. ( most probably )  I  had  three dogs in Asia and i  had this experience all the time. Street dogs are suspicious with domestic dogs, and of course the question of territory. But if you have a car, or a garden, it will be easier.
