Bali High Tourism and Politics Standards Boost Property Market

BaliRadar

By receiving peace delegations and organizing numerous conferences such as the UNESCO, the UNAOC or the APEC Summit of 2013 to just name a few, Bali (Government of Indonesia) has improved their worldwide reputation as a flourishing democracy and prosperous economy.

They also demonstrated an economic and political cooperation with western nations and its neighbors in Asia (ASEAN). Government of Indonesia in particular Bali has attracted a growing pool of international travelers from a broader variety of countries. (See Table 1)

Nowadays, tourism industry is an essential engine driving the economy of Balinese people. It is important to realize that the relationship between Balis tourism and real estate industries is symbiotic, when one flourishes, the other benefits as well. Tourism these days is dependent on property development and the exploitation of resources needed in construction and building processes.

The tourism sector can be highly productive to increase a countrys national income and improving its balance of payments. It can also be a source of hard currency and provide opportunity to reduce unemployment through creating the need for thousands of jobs in service industry.

Total number of foreign tourists visiting the island in the first four months this year was up by 14.14%, reaching 1,106,463 people from 969,382 in the same period last year. Government of Bali has set a target to attract at least 3.5 million foreign tourists, or a 10% increase, in 2014 from last years target of 3.18 million.

By observing the recurrent rise of tourists flocking to Balis shores, it is clear that Bali real estate market is on a robust trend and will continue to boom in such conditions.

*The number of Russian holiday makers visiting Bali, however, has declined lately due to escalation of conflicts in Ukraine.

I wouldnt be so sure about that, Radar, or as they say, a picture can tell a thousand words:

Outside of the south, most regencies are putting the brakes on when it comes to new development, and thats trend I highly support.
