Hi Nick welcome and hope you enjoy your time in Bali. People here dont beleive in vaccinations but my advice is have rabies, Series of three and then one later, Can have all done in bali. Dr Rishtie amazing and well recommend her as a dr. Her no is 08123818570.
Cant get immunised for dengue, just bring lots of gastrostrop for upset stomachs.  Plenty of medication here you can get.. Good luck

Hi Nick,
I am vaccinated against tetanus which anyone should be, I think. Other than that, it is recommended to get the typhoid vaccine and encephalitis vaccine. Personally, I am not. Things to be aware of: Dengue fever, malaria, in some areeas there is tuberculosis. There has been some problems with rabies last year but it is more in control now.
If you have any kind of little scratch which would be okay somewhere else, wash it well and put some antibiotic cream until it is fine. That's important. If you are still in Australia, prepare a care kit, sometimes it is difficult to find medecines here, depending where you are. I have at all times, disinfectant, antibiotic cream, band aids, advil, burn cream, tea tree oil etc... be very careful with the sun, after 45mnts under it without protection, you will burn. some people get sun poisoning and here it can develop into a serious infection. If you surf, have a shirt and waterproog protection. well that's it, hope it helps a little.
