Accommodation in Almaty

Hi guys,

I am a student from Austria and will do my internship in Almaty. I will be there from the end of February until mid August 2013.

I am looking for a place to live. Obviously a cheap one since I am a student and don't have that much money ...

Do you guys have any advice on how to find one? Maybe a homepage or anything like that!?

I have another question.
I would really be interested in staying with a hostfamily in Almaty but it turns out that it is kind of difficult to find something like that online.

Has anyone had an experience with that or knows someone? That would really help me.
