Langkawi

4everasia

In the destinations Malaysia I am missing Kedah (Langkawi) and Penang. Should this not be added? There are a lot of Ex pats here and it might be good for others too.
If you want some info about Langkawi you can have a look on my HP: 4everasia.com/ or contact me. We have moved here 5 months ago from Germany.:)

Hello,
I'm also from Germany and I think about on a retirement on Langkawi.

I placed already a blog on the forum (pls. see below).
Unfortunatelly your webpage doesn't work properly in China
- the government blocks Facebook and others.

It would be nice if I can meet you in Langkawi.

Hello,
I visit the nice island already in Februar last year and now I'm thinking about a retirement on Langkawi.
Although I have to work 4 to 5 year I mediate on a long-term VISA (2nd home) and to buy a property.

I know holiday and the daily life are different things!Unfortunately I don't know °µÍø½ûÇøs at Langkawi.
IÂ’m looking already on the board but I found nobody living there.
If anybody can provide a contact - would be great!

Properly it will be difficult for foreigners to get a good property to a reasonable price.
What's right way in Malaysia? I would be glad to get a general recommendation.

PS:
I'm from Germany, 58 year old and married with a Chinese women.
At the time I'm working in China - probably go back to Germany this year.
For the retirement we are looking for place in Asia (not China, too much people!)
I will come to Malaysia on Jan 31 (KL), fly to LGK and go back Feb 26 to China.
