Snr Mgr role in KL RM 40k a month, initial thoughts looks a fair offer. Family of 3, I figure our biggest expense are :

intl school fee - 7k a month
rent - 5-6k a month +
lease car - 3k a month

There is a possible RM80k annual bonus but I won't factor that in, any thoughts please. Coming from Europe so big move but have lived in many other countries previous so no issue with change.

Thanks

and approximately RM8700 in income tax per month.

My concern would be your finding a standard of living here, that is comparable to your current circumstances. I am relating this purely on basis of the salary.

if I round up and incl tax and big expenses as highlighted  leaves RM15k net for food, Utils and life in general a month, again looks ok, sign of the times I think where °µÍø½ûÇø, ie schooling not provided in package, rare to get that in an offer anywhere these days, overall looks ok but not great but opportunity to live and work back in Asia, a step up ladder and reasonably good schooling albeit at an inflated price, not our first time. I'm sure others earn more but many more earn far far less judging from what I have read on the forum, again as you said would I have a comparable or better life, it would be better as another life experience , overal I say it's a fair result , does it fair ok with other °µÍø½ûÇø packages for those who have come from a developed country, I would like to think so.

Depends where else in Asia you have lived. If you know the constraints of Malaysia, that's good.

I would also suggest that you put up your rental a bit to say RM6-10k per month but it depends on the type of housing you want and where you need to live. My friends are paying over RM20 per month in KLCC for a 3 bedroomed apartment.
