Hi Gravitas, My company applied Stage-1 visa last month but still the application status is showing IMM-Decision stage. Spoke to MDEC, they said stage-1 approved but immigration check pending. My visa last day is end of this month. Could you please help? Thanks

Immigration check does not take very long and there have been public holidays.

But "last day of visa" does that mean you are in Malaysia on a tourist visa?

聽聽聽Yes, I called to MDec. They said application status is IMM-Decision stage. And they said MDec approved but immigration still pending. It's been 25 days but still stage 1 still not approved.

Hi, I'm in probably the same situation as you, I left Malaysia on 6 June and I'm still waiting for the Immigration to approve, I asked MDEC and they told me the same as you. have you got any response so far ?

Hi Gravitas,

聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽聽My STage-1 application is still pending immigration check. And my visa is expiring by end of this month, spoke to Mdec regarding my visa and Special pass but they said no need to apply Special Pass and wait for immigration approval. Is it ok to stay without Special pass? Please help me . Thanks

Hi there. Have you gotten any updates on your IMM - Decision stage status? My husband's application is also in that status and there is still no progress. Looking forward to hear from you.
