Hi Community,

My Company has applied for the Employment Pass for me on 18 June, 2018. The status on the website says - "Return to Company". It has been lying on the same status from 20 June, 2018.

My employer says, as per the new government's rule it is getting delayed and cannot promise on the SLA timeline for this.

Can anyone please advise me what can be done on this stage.

If the company wants to spend megabucks to get it through immgration they could contact an immigration specialist. Otherwise nothing to do but wait.

My employer says it is the same for all the EP applicants from all the Malaysian companies and we need to wait because of the new government's stringent rules.

Is that true?

Just an updates for those are applying employment pass (DP10) since this year. You may experiencing delay in getting approval, especially new company setup.

Yes, my employer says there is a thorough verification going on with all the Indian based companies and it will get delayed. But did not give any SLA for the same.
