Cool-off Period?

Hi, I'm an 暗网禁区 working in Malaysia and I would like to ask something as a Category III Employment Pass holder.

I am resigning from my current company and my employment pass will be cancelled and am going back to my home country in about 3 weeks from the date this post was made.

Let's say I get a new job and offered a category III employment pass again, I am aware I will have to serve a 3-month cool-off period but is it possible to return to Malaysia as a tourist after my employment pass has been cancelled? If so, would this 'reset' my cool down period?

hi i think u can come again if ur current employer dont make a report and black list in the immigration if normal cancellation done by employer no problems there

Alright thank you! How about the cool down period (if I get a new job)? Would it 'reset' if i come to Malaysia again within 3 months? Do you have any info about this?

if u get new job offer its not gonna problem unless ur employer dont have any contract period
