Hello Rin18.

Welcome to °µÍø½ûÇø! :)

Can you be more explicit please?
What type of visa are you looking for?

You can read the other threads on Visas on the Kuala Lumpur forum. It can help.

Thank you,

ntosh

Malaysia dosent require any visa thats way any body who comes to malaysia has 3 months as a free period of time and of u go out from malaysia and go back in they will renew ur visa to another 3 months every time or if u dont want to do that then u will have to pay for a longer visa....

Yes you cannot stay more than 90days on social/visitor visa,if you have a work visa then you can.

Hi there,

3 months visa is granted for "social visit".. and then within these period you can apply for work permit or visa. You must have the offer/ contract before you could apply for working permit. After the application and approval, the Immigration normally will grant you 1-2 years of working permit and you would need to renew it then..

thanks

Mrs de R is correct.

May I ask a question?  Why would even consider moving your entire family here unless you already have work?

Now, if you have a work contract offer in hand, then yes, you come in the 90-day social visa while the paperwork is being processed for your work permit and residence permits.

Job first...and in Malaysia, that is very, very true.

There is a Malaysia my second home visa.
You can have multiple entry visa for you and your family for about 10 years.
