Hello All,

Can i stay in Puchong, Selangor within 1200 - 1400 RM per month?

Room - 350 to 500 RM
Food - Veg - 400 - 500 RM (self cooking)
Telephone expenses - 100 - 200 RM

Probably.

You have no money for transportation included in your budget and what about work clothing and shoes?

Dont forget that you may have to pay for the processing of your visa, medical exam (blood tests and x-ray) and paying the levy.聽 That is quite a lot of money (approx 2 months salary).

Thanks for your quick response on this.

I haven't included transportation cost coz my company will reimburse this cost.

Also telephone and internet cost will be reimbursed.

I will bring my clothes and shoes.

Visa cost is taken care by company.

You have not mentioned utilities. It of course depends on how the rent is made up. Even if sharing these between several people, it would be good to bear them in mind. Electricity went up 16% last year and is due to rise again soon. With no aircon use the bill will be about RM120 per month.

Many flat shares require a deposit of 2 1/2 months rental amount. You pay rental in advance as well, so the first lay out for housing could be as high as 3 1/2 months rent in total.
