Hi All,

Got the offer of 15K ringgit per month. Let me know how much can i save? or cost of living per month?

Do i need to ask more considering tax of 26%.

Just over 12k after regular tax (when tax resident).

Rents near Petronas are 6-8k per month and even the cheapest place far away 3k in city so 12k isn't that much.

You will spend at least 7k as a single person even if you are not a party animal etc. You can save if very tight with money, no/very cheap holidays etc. So I reckon 5k savings possible as a max. Many can easily spend 12k and a lot more!
