@davidseaman You can't "dual citizenship% in the Philippines is only available to Filipinos.

You can apply for citizenship after 7 years and be granted citizenship after a further 3yrs, but on paper at least you must give up your original citizenship. UK citizens however don't actually lose their right to citizenship via this process, it can be reacquired very easily.
