Family is very important to Filipinos,聽 are very close. Family is important but can be unfair to the children.聽 The children are responsible for taking care of their parents and elderly. They really don't have total freedom to do as they wish.聽 They will be responsible for their elderly parents living situation both financially and housing.聽 Which holds them back on what they do and where they go. To me it is unfair to put it all on the children. They really don't have nursing homes etc. But it seems unfair to me to have to be expected to shoulder this responsibility as a said rule. Just my opinion.
