What do you usually do on your weekends in Cagayan de Oro?

Are there any places to visit, any activities, any events or festivals regularly organized you would like to recommend?

What are your top tips for the weekend in Cagayan de Oro?

hi Christine,

I have been here for a year now and this is what I do;

the malls, obviously
the restaurants over looking the city. Ultrawinds, High Ridge and the eco village
the beach on the way to the airport just before the Prawn House (in the city)
go to the beach just after the airport called mid way
go to magic farm in bukidnon.

Not in CDO but do suggest a trip to Dahilayan Forest Park for the weekend.聽 They have a nice website.

The Forest is nice. Waterfall at Illigan city. Take the bus there & back. Several beach's here. O.I. Just before there there is a nice pool & club for fresh water swimming.聽 Go to Nawawan pick mangoes, coconuts, beach, & pool there. But that is with her family. On there farms. Malls have free shows.聽 Last weekend. Picked Mangoes. this weekend birthday party. They have a big parade here every year.聽 I have took up photography as a hobby. Have push mower to mow the grass & trimmer. 1 day a week do yard work.聽 I stay busy here every day doing something.聽 But never seem to work hard at anything here. But I am retired.
