Education Verification- Unable to contact University

hi Everyone, I recently got a job offer as auditor in a big 4 in Singapore. However, the HR is unable to proceed with applying for my EP (my salary meets EP threshold) cause of delays on the education verification part. The background check company is unable to contact University of London for verification. University of London does have a dedicated email for third parties for education verification but the background check company said they are not replying. Has anyone encountered this before?

Also, University of London is a distance learning program and I studied for the degree at a teaching center in Malaysia. Is it sufficient for the background check company to verify my degree with the Malaysian teaching center or they must contact the University of London in UK for verification?

Anyway, I have provided the contact details of both the University of London and local teaching center to the background check company, and it is still pending for them to try to contact them

You could try to contact your university yourself and ask them to urgently reply to the verification request.

Without verification, you will not get the work pass - and thus will not be able to have that job in Singapore!

@SmolYuu I faced the same issue during my education certs verification. The email and phone mentioned on Uni website didn鈥檛 respond to the verification agency. What I did was contacted Uni professors and few students on LinkedIn and Facebook to guide me to proper channel and if they could help to get the info from Uni registrar office in campus.

Also, my verification agency Avanz did mention that if there is no response via email they would visit the university in person.

my verification was don鈥檛 within SLA of 15 days. But needs being proactive from your end too.

also, your employer can still apply for EP without education certificate verification given u score minimum 40 on COMPASS with 0 points for education.
