I wanna try archery but I was looking for more Kyuudo with a proper wooden long bow than the mechanical archery. Any ideas?

Hi ´¡³Ü°ùé±ô¾±±ð,

Thanks for the Advise :)

@Kathleen I checked them out but they are using mechanical bows.  I'm talking traditional archery Kyuudo like they do in Japan. With long bow. Where more skill is needed. I'm not saying you dont need skill to do the mechanical bows, but they are designed to make it a little easier.

Hi Elusive,
Where are you from? I ask because you are the second person in Singapore besides me who wants to practice traditional form of archey. It looks like everyone else here  are shooting expensive high tech Olympic recurve or compound bow which IMO defeats the purpose of learning this ancient art. I hope to join the archery club of Singapore at Hougang and use their basic recurve bow without any attachments as a start to learn instinctive shoooting then purchase my own traditional bow online to shoot there. You are welcome to contact and join me.

Hi Elusive,

Yup, it's mechanical bows, Yes I'm aware of the traditional type.
I really don't care if I have to use Mechanical or Traditional, I just want to try it for Fun, not really thinking of pursuing it for a career or taking it a serious hobby. Again just For Fun :)

Thanks!
