Most of your questions would be answered by a bit of Internet research, which I would encourage you to do!

1. Apartments range from S$2000/month (for the cheapest and most basic place in an inconvenient location) to S$10000/month for a luxury place near Orchard Road. Count on S$3000-5000/month for a reasonable place with two or three bedrooms.
With the salary you mention, it might be better to rent just a (sublet) room. These cost around S$1000/month.

2. has a calculation tool for taxes

3. A meal can range from S$5/person (basic hawker centre - cooking yourself will not cost less) to S$100/person or more. You can live reasoably with S$20-30/day for food (for one person).

4. Depends on your interests. There is no shortage of entertainment options in Singapore!

5. No! Your visa is valid for work at the one employer who applied for it. Anything else is illegal and will get you into big trouble.
