Student Pass appeal

Hi,

My husband and I are work permit. I have apply 2 times student pass last year for my 3 years old child and also appeal but failed. This year I applied a new student pass again under different school. But failed again. Now waiting for appeal outcome. Can I check if calling ICA Everyday to beg for approval does it help?

Any parents with work permit holder, their child student pass pass?

This question has answered few times already. ICA has stricter rules in place, they can see that you both are working but min salary threshold is not matching to apply DP of your child. So, student pass is not applicable for 3yr child here. There is nothing wrong to reach out ICA but it鈥檚 very unlikely that they will accept your case. Sorry to know your situation. Good luck

It is obvious to ICA that you want to (ab-)use the student pass to get around the minimum salary threshold for a DP. They do not like such attempts and will not approve it, no matter what you do.
I suggest you try again when you earn enough (i.e. one of you has S$6000/month or more base salary), or make alternative arrangements (e.g. move to another country).
