Th published minimum salary is for fresh graduates with no work experience and further education. If you have any of these, the rejection does make sense: The minimum goes up then (roughly in line with your increased market vaue - you can figure out what it is in your case by using the SAT tool).

I work in SG 6 years spass last my contract finish December 2019,
After I have some festival SG (thaipusam murugan temple) I come in sg visiting pass January - 2020 but immigration officer not allowed to me in visiting,

Last January I apply The job 08- January 2021
But rejected my application the company ask the reason
I have advert record about (visit pass) issue
I don't know how to clear the issue any one explains or help me this is my WhatsApp number +65 9XXX - kabil,,

Thanks beppi, I already tried SAT and still got a pass, though I noted that SAT tool is not applicable to Financial Services.

I am working in singapore for almost 2 years. My EP is expiring by May 2021. Below are the events happened to me.


Ep renewal initated  : 04 Feb 2021
Rejected by MoM : 15 Feb 2021 (Reason : Candidate does not meet qualifying criteria which includes salary,qualification and experience)
Appeal : 15 Feb 2021 (As per SAT , I am qualified for Epass , so my HR appealed again using that)
Rejected by MoM : 08 Mar 2021 (Reason : Candidate still does not meet qualifying criteria)

My work experience : 8 yrs 7 mon
Sector : Insurance but working in IT department.
Salary : 6.4k

May i know any else recently facing this situation. And also what is the qualifying salary for my experience to get the Epass approved?

Sounds like my situation. I think in your case the only way is to get the salary increased.

In my case I applied with 5.6k and 1y exp and got rejected for salary, so it seems like MOM is just being tough on Financial Services

Maybe they can consider applying for spass instead?

Hi, So finally what happened ? Did they give you spass?

I went thru a similar situation as well.

Ep renewal applied and was rejected in 10 days. Based on some of the forums updates I had asked HR to go for a Spass instead.

Spass was applied and approved.
