Can a different company apply for EP after a rejection

lcharlie612

Hi everyone,

I’m new here. And I am in a tricky situation. I had 2 offers outstanding and company A started applying for EP for me, and it got rejected last week.

Now company B said they want to initiate the EP process. Will MOM reject the second one too? Or company B simply won’t be able to submit?

Thank you so much!

This has been answered several times on this forum on multiple threads, you being new should have made you do a little bit of reading as this forum is a wealth of experiences and critical advice from experts.

Next time, try spending some time to read information shared before posting a repetitive question- makes no sense.

To clarify, once an application is rejected, it is the end of that application and unless an appeal is being made, the second employer can go ahead and file a new application. However, try to figure out the rejection reason and ensure if it corresponds to your personal credentials etc (not related to company/ quota etc), you take extra caution to answer/ provide information proactively in the new submission.

Thank you Shekhz!

Sorry I may not have been clear. The first company said they will appeal, but as employee I can’t see the right status. So I should make sure the first company isn’t appealing before second one applies right?

I’m curious did you accept and sign both offer from both companies?

Yea, let them know you are pursuing a different job and wouldn’t request an appeal. Only if, you are confident that the second employer will be able to help you secure an approval (which none of us can predict, you would know better where you have higher chances).

Yeah if you appeal from the first company, you will not be able to apply new ep from the second company untill the appeal is processed. Appeal withdrawal is also not easy. It will take 2-3 weeka.
