@Shekhz  Hi, Can you please help me to get some idea on my approval process.

Initially my new employer have applied for s pass. It was not approved and it was notified us with in the 7 days of rejection. I have seen the results from work pass application status page(That everyone can access it)

But again my employer appealed for it. But I'm not sure from where I can see the results. Few days back from work pass application status online, I have seen two records showing that

01. "S pass application is rejected, Please contact your employer "

02. "You application in processing"

I assume that the second record for appealed.

But today I couldn't find the record 2. I can see only that my "S pass application is rejected, Please contact your employer " - Can I consider this as an appeal process has failed?

I have notify this to employer, they told that they haven't get any response from MOM.

I belive that your reply will make me to understand.

@Ezaan In the newsystem, you can see the appeal status. Thus "invalid" means either the appeal has not been submitted yet, or it is already rejected. Ask your employer!

My Spass application is rejected for 3 times. The first reason is to submit Education Verification Report. After submitting Education Verification Report, second time rejected. It is because of the inconsistency of the study period between Verification Report and my Spass Application. I wrote the Explanation Letter and re-appeal again. The last rejection is because of wrong name of my university name. My employer didn't select the university name from MOM dropdown list. He wrote with typing the university name. MOM gave this as a reason for rejection. So, we re-appealed again with the right one. Now, it is about one week after my last appeal. I would like to know my Spass application has possibility to get approval and how long do I need to wait to get my outcome result?

Please kindly give advice or answer if you can. Thank You.

@Aye Thiri You can read several threads on this forum about how long a work pass application can take and what are the points influencing the duration. It seems yours has many aspects that make it longer!

@beppi Thanks for your reply. I have another question. I got 3 rejections with 2 applications. Because of these 3 rejections, can my application be rejected finally?

@Aye Thiri Three rejections for two applications, how does that work?

Why were your applications rejected? If you remove the rejection reason in a new application (for another job), then it has a chance. Otherwise not.

@beppi the rejection reason is since the first application - Wrong the University Name. I didn't know that before. After two rejections, my employer submitted the new application with next position. This one also rejected. And he appealed the first one with the correct university name. It was from 16th October 2023. So, can I get approval or not? My employer said that he contacted to MOM and MOM can take 6 weeks to get outcome result. For me, the first application is since from July. It is too long for me. I also submitted the Education Verification Proof to MOM.

@Aye Thiri If the wrong school name in the first applicatio was corrected in the appeal, and you were still rejected, it must have been for a different reason.

But if your employer then submits a second application again with the wrong school name, they are obviously too badly organised to be eligible for a work pass (and for your service too, I must say).

I recommend you look for a better employer!

@beppi Thanks for your reply. My employer didn't know he typed the wrong school's name and I checked for him at this last appeal. He knew at this last appeal and repaired the correct one and submitted the appeal. So, can it still have a possibility to get an approval?

@Aye Thiri A simple mistyping does not normally cause a rejection - more likely a question from MoM to the employer. So I don't think this alone was the reason.

@beppi Yes, the first mistake is the inconsistency of the study period between the Spass application form and the Education Verification report. For this mistake, I already wrote the explanation letter and submitted it to the MOM.

Employer Said already submitted the s pass appeal, but my side I checked the status still invalid, current appeal process not shown

Hi, my S pass was rejected also on the first apply.

MoM won't disclose the reason even the HR from company reach out ot them.

So what did you do different in the appeal as a candidate?

What do you think I can do as for now, besides patiently waiting.
