Hi, there is a Greek church in Busan. You might try going there to meet Greeks who live in Busan. I went when I was staying near Busan.

It might not be like Korean churches and you can also learn a little about the Greek Orthodox Christian faith if you want to. Oh, maybe you are Greek/ part Greek?

Then this next part is for anyone who might be interested.

The Greek Orthodox church is very old, perhaps closest to the most original form of Christianity. Roman Catholicism branched off from it in the 11th Century (and both have undergone some changes since that time, I believe).

Anyway, you could go into the church on a Sunday morning, and listen to the service (called, the Divine Liturgy), which will be at least part in Korean language. It may last around 2 hours. In most Greek church services I have attended, people frequently arrive late and may also leave early. You should pay a small amount if you decide to light a candle at the place where the candles are. Apart from this, you will not be under an obligation to pay any amount of money to the church, if you want to give any small amount it is entirely up to you.聽 It is considered respectful to dress decently in the church, (in the old days and in monasteries, women should not wear trousers, but this is not usually observed in modern life in most churches). So dressing decently basically means dressing neatly in clean clothes which do not expose bare shoulders, and are not sexy. At the end of the service, there may be a chance to talk to the holy father and the people there over coffee in another part of the church buildings. No-one will try to persuade you to become an Orthodox Christian and attend church regularly if that is not what you are interested in. It is worth being open-minded to try to understand what it is about. Also, having a little understanding of the Greek church may give some understanding of parts of Greek culture.

In Busan, the church is called, The Annunciation of the Most Holy Theotokos. The people there I met are very nice.
