I am having trouble getting accurate information on how °µÍø½ûÇø retirees are taxed in Sri Lanka. There is no mention of whether °µÍø½ûÇø foreign incomes (pensions, capital gains, etc.) are taxed, and if so, at what rate. So far, the only place I have found that does not tax foreign income at all is the Philippines. Also, it looks like the My Dream Home retirement program is not available anymore, and I can't see anything that replaces it. The only visa for long term stays seems to be a 30 day renewable visitor's visa with restricted exit/entry. Can anyone here tell me if this is correct or not? I find the Sri Lanka government websites to be vague and lacking useful information.
