Help! I need some advice about my retirement extension

abemsouth

Due to my own fault I fell below the 800k balance a couple of weeks ago.  Not by much, as soon as I noticed it I replaced the money.  My account was only under for about twelve hours to fifteen hours. I used the wrong atm card to withdraw money out of what I thought was my daily account.

My extension is due in a few weeks.  Will Immigration accept my reason that I used the wrong card or will they refuse my extension?

I do not have to through the whole business of getting a new Non- O visa which means I would have to do a visa run.

Not an expert, but would of thought providing you have the 800k in place at the time of submission there should not be an issue,

It would be a good idea to have in place a safey net ie 8100k

It appears that I withdrew the money on one day and deposited the next day Immigration consider it to be two days even though it was no more than 15 hours.    Therefore my Non-O has expired. Now I have to deal with the best way possible. Any suggestions are welcome.

Are both accounts thai bank accounts?

If so I would get a bank statement of both accounts when you go in.

I am not a expert or anything.

I thought the requirements was 800 k on deposit in a Thailand.

With the your bank accounts statements together it can show what you did better that just your word on the matter.

Anyway that is my 2 cents worth.

I hope they see the honest mistake  and let it go

My 5 cent, go to immigration and check and let them propose a solution IF there is an issue.

Generally these are reasonable people.....
