I'm seeing a lot of drama in the news but I can't really catch what caused this, is it because of the scam groups in Cambodia that are doing scams to people in Thailand?

I saw a few people were not allowed to cross the border back to Thailand a few days ago from Cambodia so they are now also closing some borders too? what is going on and why is this drama getting so bad

last time I was in Thailand I noticed multiple Thai people say really negative things about Cambodia, like they are stealing our culture or things like that, I have never understood why there is so much animosity between them
