Does anyone know if there is any problem exchanging 拢50 notes for Thai Bahts in Phuket. We have always done this in the past as using these notes is less bulky than smaller denominations. I have heard rumours that it can sometimes be difficult.

With 拢50.00 notes you will get a better exchange rate than 拢20 notes. The only problem you will have with exchanging any notes is if the notes are damaged or have writing on them. Its best to go to your bank and withdraw the money and make sure the 拢50.00 notes are new crisp notes.
