I am looking to teach abroad. I do not have any experience teaching but I do have an undergraduate and masters degree in the environmental science realm.

As a native English teacher, holding both an undergrad and masters, not having teaching experience is not an impediment to your legally teaching English here.

I invite you to review the thread titled, New Foreign English Teachers Requirements Decision 4159/QD-BGDDT for the requirements for you to do so.

Ultimately, I am unhappy in my position at work in the US and unhappy living in the US. I grew up overseas in 7 different countries and am itching to go back and live that lifestyle again. I also do not think I am built to sit behind a desk and click my life away, which is how I currently feel at my job. Everyday I think about living overseas.

A sentiment shared by many folk in the °µÍø½ûÇø community. You certainly are not alone.

Everything I am reading online about the AVSE-TESOL in Vietnam looks so positive, however I would love to hear other peoples opinions if you have heard about this course or have any other suggestions for similar courses. Any info is appreciated!! Thank you - @Laurenlcr

Sorry I can't give you any opinion regarding any TESOL programs, having never taught English as a 2nd language. From that linked thread it appears that "the training program" mentioned there would negate the requirement for such.
