Happy new year to all my fellow ex pats and native vietnamese.
I hope you all had a great one,all the best for 2012.

I spent last night drinking what I suspect was rice spirit in the ally down below with a bunch of damn fine vietnamese lads,The food and the drinks where flowing and the hospitality was second to none.

Happy New Year to everyone.

I (and my bike) was spending yesterday nigh between 10PM and 1AM getting involuntarily stuck at the corner of Ton Duc Thang and Nguyen Hue. Absolute deadlock, tens (or hundreds?) of thousands of people all standing around with no movements for nearly 3 hours.

Unintended bonus: I was able to watch the fireworks at close range.

Anatta: yeah, that time was very great! We couldn't move in nearly 3 hrs. But when music were turned on, people danced and sang very interesingly. An unforgettable welcoming new year ^_^
