This is why it is important to read the contract.  There is a reason this company does that. They should not have too, part of the blame is on them for how they hire, but most on the people they hire. If you are lazy and lacking skill set that includes responsibility, do not sign the contract.

Don't forget: "Customer is the King"!
If some language school insist like these, don't blame them because they want to serve their 'customer'- students well. If you are a dedicated and sincere Teacher... these rules never be a burden! :D

Thanks guys! That sounds like a pretty strict contract and penalties. Other than that, it's a pretty good company to work for? meaning, pretty trust worthy, they'll pay on time etc?

I agree that the teacher should be professional, but if a "school" is ran properly and known as a good place to work, it will attract the better teachers on the market.  They won't be late, or not show...maybe.

The sheer amount of words alone is a bad sign, imho.  He took a page to say what could have been said in a paragraph.

I've never worked for this outfit, but I've spoken with them several times.  It adds up to about 6 hours of my life that I can't recoup, though I wish I could.

They don't pay on time.
